Open Life . . . the book.

What looks like an interesting book (originally published in Finnish in 2005) on the “philosophy of open source” has just been translated into English. The book is divided into four sections discussing the principles of open source developent, the specific case of Linux and moves on to discuss non-software implementations of open-source ideas. The book was written by Henrik Ingo and translated into English by Sara Torvalds. It also includes an epilogue by Linus entitled “Linux kernel management style.” Linux Business News has a short review of the book. It is available in print from lulu.com or download from openlife.cc.
