New: OpenBusiness Review
Looking around on the Interweb we decided to launch a new format: a quick review of what is new and happening around “openness”. For now we will publish every other week a collection of links to blog posts and relevant stories out there. We are mainly using technorati and WordPress to see who is linking to OpenBusiness and then browse the sites to see what is interesting. So if you want to be featured here all you need to do is link to us and have something interesting to say – we call it reciprocal journalism:
1. At OpenDotBot you can find posts covering a wide variety of everyhting “Open”. Topics range from social media, why open source business is a better business approach, to news about open access publishing. Really inspiring and a worthwhile read.
2. Top Ten Geek Business Myths is a very down to earth collection of useful business advise for anyone who thinks about starting an internet based business. Particularly useful for those of us who still think having an idea is the essence of business success. It actually isn’t.
3. Brazil – nicely so we now have a number of blogs in Brazil who have picked up on OpenBusiness – if anybody like unfettered enthusiasm mixed intellectual generosity (as opposed to intellectual property) and you can read have a look at Juan Freire’s site.
4. And finally: At Biz Open Source as the name implies you can read about useful business approaches to OS….
We will attempt to this every week and also present links to new and useful articles, reports, events. If this interests you please email us at: info@openbusiness.cc or link to us and we will pick it up.

Only a short update. Actually the Copyleft Manual book is published in Spain (and also my blog “comes” from Spain
. However, I completely agree: Brazil is a hotspot for open business activity (much more than Spain …).
