investment exchange

If I knew how to do this I would be working on it now. I’m thinking of an exchange where instead of big time brokers like J.P. Morgan trading FOR stock investors on Wall Street there would an online profile system connecting the investor of any size to the PROJECTS of various companies. The companies could advertise their need of capital for a new oil field or factory or whatever. Ideally third parties could deal with the legal aspects inviting simplicity of trading. The porblems with this idea include the legal issues, the collateral or even developing something to trade for (besides just the knowledge of an investment), and the security. Setting up online accounts and profiles could enable for simple capital provision could enable explosive benefit for individuals and companies. Some companies attempt this now but few allow the individual direct access to the company. Please give ideas or make it and I will invest in it. God bless.

what I was getting at was companies like http://www.tinvex.com/ and just investment banks that act as intermediaries to investments and companies. I would like there to be a place where each person is kind of his own investment bank or broker having direct access to all the companies looking receive project capital. I need to continue searching but I think the “Investment Exchange” is the closest to what I am hoping for (tinvex.com). In the same way that companies sell stock to raise money for the company so these companies in my concept sell “something” which could give partial ownership to a project… like a person opening a restaurant or something… all done online. Clear as mud, right?

well – I agree its a great ide but tinvex is apparently out of business or simply not working – maybe its a good idea, but badly implemented – the question is who is doing the due diligence and rates the risk an investor takes?

i think “New Small Scale VC’s” sounds like its asking for the same type of thing. i was hoping the same types of organizations that organize the NYSE or future’s exchange, maybe ….. dare i say it even government could rate the risk and do the due diligence.
