Trusted Places blog series IV
This is the final post of a four part series by TrustedPlaces. This post addresses two questions; How did you get investment? and What’s the future for TrustedPlaces? If you want to catch up have a look at the previous posts, 19 March, 20 March and 21 March.
We invested a lot of time developing a good product that gained us traction and provided a platform for us to build on. We also actively sought out investment, frequently attending London’s numerous networking events, which is how we met Hugo Burge of HOWZAT Media. Generating buzz and building up a company is hard work, but it paid off.
What’s the future for TrustedPlaces?
In the near future we are rolling out some key new features and expanding our reach both geography and platform wise. Not too long ago we launched the “taste finder test” which enabled us to identify your tastes around food, drinks, music, people, places, and cities. This has been our first step in delivering a truly personal recommendations engine. We’re constantly improving it so that it in the future its accuracy and level of personalization will constantly increase. Loads of new features are also planned, such as taking TrustedPlaces on the move, but we do wish to keep an element of surprise too
