PitchCamp recap

NGthumb.jpgAlmost a week a week ago PitchCamp was held in a full room at the St Martins Innovation Centre. The event brought together an interesting group of 60 web entrepreneurs, developers, VCs, and others interested in hearing about the process of setting up a (web 2.0) company and getting it funded. Speakers included a VC and two entrepreneurs, each with a unique take on getting funding. Afterwards the audience and speakers got to meet up and exchange thoughts, talk about their own start ups, and enjoy some Italian food and wine.

To get an impression of the evening, have a look at the pdf of Paul Fisher’s (associate at Advent Venture Partners) presentation below.
Paul’s blog on media, technology, venture capital, and growth business is highly recommended and can be found here.
