Geek Finance Dinner on the 18th (from the Open Finance Coffee Club)

Geek Dinners have a long history of running web-themed events with dinner speakers ranging from Google’s OpenSocial developers, to the BBC iPlayer team. OpenFinanceCoffeeClub (they’ll be a competition to pick a less lame name later!) is joining them for a Geek Finance Dinner in Holborn on November 18th.

Our dinner speaker is James Gardner, the Head of Innovation and Research at Lloyds TSB. He will talk a bit about the book he has got coming out soon, and tell amusing anecdotes about medieval banking datacentres and internal bureaucracy. In attendance will be mingle of web, media, Canary Wharf and start-up folks.
