Service/product description

Mozilla’s mission is to develop, deploy and promote free Mozilla software such as their web browser, Firefox, and their email applicaion, Thunderbird.

What does 'openness' mean in this case?

Mozilla is inspired by openness and participation in general. Not just in software, but also in how the web works. Making sure the web is built on these principles is critical. In relation to this goal, open approaches basically need to be at the core of everything Mozilla does.
