MiniBar looking for Tech Correspondents

MiniBar is taking on tech and start-up correspondents to blog about all the new and interesting things that are turning up at our events.

MiniBar is a growing community of 3000 web entrepreneurs, developers, and tech innovators who are leading London’s web and tech industry. Once a month we meet face to face over a beer to network, discuss and listen to presentations from upcoming start-ups, or thought leaders in the field. The Guardian just summarized MiniBar as an ‘overdose of brilliant ideas‘ and it is these that we want you to collect and blog about via interviews and conversations during the MeetUp.

We regularly work with partners such as PayPal, Guardian Media, BBC Backstage, LBi, UKTi, Nesta, Microsoft BizSpark and high profile tech start ups in delivering our events.

The position is ideal for journalist, media, communication students, MBA’s or anybody who wants to learn about web technologies and entrepreneurship. You can select your interviewees and follow your own interests to create blog posts on OpenBusiness.cc. Equipment such as a Kodak HD video camera or Edirol recorder will be provided by us (and some free beer!)
