MiniBar Meetup Interweb of Things

The upcoming MiniBar Meetup, occuring on the 30th of July, will focus on everything ‘atomic’. How the web is expanding in such a way that it can power ‘things’, actual tangible objects. How hardware is becoming open, allowing one to tinker with gadgets, build robots using Arduino. How technological advancements such as these are making the planet a smarter and better place. Arduino is an open source electronics prototype platform. It is based on flexible, easy to use hardware and software. The Arduino platform is meant to be utilized by artists, designers, hobbyists, anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments. It is a tool for making computers that can sense and even control more of the physical world than a normal desktop computer. Arduino can be used to create interactive objects, taking inputs from a variety of switches and sensors, and controlling a variety of lights, motors, and other physical outputs.
