MiniBar September: Emma Wright’s Site

MiniBar-goers last month were privy to my first blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance on stage during the 1-minute pitches section. I am told I clocked in at around 17 seconds and that people barely had time to note down the web address, let alone process the sentences I was issuing at a breakneck speed.
So, for those of you who were indeed blinking at the time of my presentation, here is a recap: I have made a brilliant freshers’ guide site full of useful and funny articles about the new and alarming things that freshers can expect to encounter in their first year of uni and beyond.
I wrote all the foundation articles myself and am now updating the site every few days with more advanced entries from my friends. Most of the articles are illustrated, again by me, and I hope they give a realistic yet comforting idea of what uni is really like.
Check it out if you want a chuckle, and pass the link onto any freshers you might know. It’s What We Learnt: The Freshers’ Guide that DOESN’T assume you know everything already.
